The collision sent car parts flying into the air
BRATENAHL, Ohio — An encounter that could have turned for an officer was caught on dashcam and body camera video.
FOX 8 reported Officer Timothy O’Haire was conducting a traffic stop when his cruiser was sideswiped by a speeding driver.
The collision sent car parts flying into the air.
Two officers responded to assist O’Haire after the collision. He was not injured.
Officers noticed the driver of the vehicle who crashed into O’Haire, Antoine Keith Miller, smelled of alcohol. Miller failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He refused to take a breathalyzer at the station was booked into jail.
O’Haire was taken to a hospital and released.
Miller was charged with OVI and failure to control.
