2015 Picnic Recap

In Events by rapsheet

Thanks to all who came out to the picnic last weekend! The weather was perfect and we had a great turnout. It was so good to see the current members and their families as well as the retirees.

Congratulations to our 2015 Stan Peters Memorial Award recipients, Dave Virtue, John Grable, and Mark Chamberlain, for their outstanding commitment and the years of service to the PPA and our community. They’ve helped shape the PPA into what we are today. The Stan Peters Memorial Award is presented to individuals who exemplify the grit, courage and leadership that Stan Peters exhibited during his tenure as PPA President.

The Paul Meyer Award was presented to Officers Parik Singh, Jose Jimenez, Scott Konczal, and Tina Willard. The PPA along with Paul Meyer and his family are honored to present the award to PPA Members that exhibit strength, courage, and perseverance in overcoming obstacles. This year’s recipients are an inspiration to our community.

I want to give a special thanks to our Executive Board, Tom Perkins, Annie Lamb, and Angela Orr for their efforts and hard work in preparing for the picnic.

Your continued support is the life blood of this association. Your encouragement is what motivates us to continue to strongly advocate for your rights as we move forward and face the challenges before us.

Look forward to next year,
-D. T.
